"Well, well well... \nI was the lucky recipient . Visiting this beautiful country club in New Albany.. Rich in history, Dripping in style. The Nicolas room was my favorite. (the bowl of warm nuts with my cocktail.) please \nWe enjoyed the pool area and the wonderful menu. I had chicken fresh mango tacos. I was a little overwhelmed that it was just that fresh. \nPlayed nine holes of golf, gorgeous pristine course . All the golf carts have GPS fresh cold water in the cart and a cocktail gal coming around. \nI even hear that if you buy a home there's a waitlist for the club ... \nDon't quote me on that, but you would have to ask . \nSign me up!"

"Worst golf course I've ever been too. The course was very rundown and looked like we were playing on a public park in Whitehall.... Employees were extremely rude and even the golf carts looked like they were bought damaged at a flea market. We spent a decent amount while on the course to be treated like we didn't belong there by regulars and employees. We had a large group, split up into groups of 4 as asked and still was told we needed to hurry up golfing. Even though some of us were skipping holes or didn't even golf (even though we paid full price). The employee accused us of hitting over 20 shots a person... Most hit par and the ones who didn't never hit more than 8. Never coming here again, maybe it's cause we had minorities in our group we were treated so hostile. Would not recommend having your wedding or special event here. Sorry we're not pro golfers, but with the extremely low quality of the course you would think that wouldn't be a requirement here. Employee could have asked the group behind us that was taking 2 minutes per hole to play through us instead of asking us to skip holes or leave without playing the number of holes we paid for..... The Lakes blows this place out of the water don't even bother coming here"
Between now and the end of 2025, eight new golf courses are expected to open in Martin County (where the Atlantic Ocean beach town of Hobe Sound is located).
High Grove, which is being developed by Ryan Hanks, is the latest private club to involve Colin Sheehan and Bert Guy, who—either individually or together—count Ohoopee Match Club in Georgia ...
From renovations to remodels to a slate of new courses under construction and in the pipeline, things haven’t been this active since the early- to mid-2000s.
For 15 years, almost all new course construction has been driven not by need or location but rather by the discovery of gorgeous golf sites like Streamsong and Sand Valley.
