"I will say this when you deal with this company, as far as watch batteries, make sure the condition of your watch is documented and or acknowledged. I recommend you photograph your property before you give it to them. The smart thing they did was packing the watch up and sealing it before I picked it up. Thus, allowing them to hide the damage. Ultimately, I should have inspected the watch before I left but I didn't know I was dealing with a dishonest situation. I say all this to demonstrate that because the watch was damaged it is ultimately my word against theirs."

"I have worked with Jon, the owner, over the past 2 years for several complex clocks. His knowledge of clocks is amazing. He is always professional and personable. He is punctual and detail-oriented. He does a wonderful job, and his prices are reasonable. I rarely write reviews, but I believe Jon deserves a good one!"

"My Cuckoo Clock fell off the wall and I thought it was done for. They folks fixed me right up for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend their services!"
Clock now will not run. I have no experience in repairs of clocks and do not want to damage it more than I might have. Any recommendations for someone experienced in repair of these clocks in the Cleveland / Brooklyn Ohio area / USA? Also any insight into the value of this Serpentine clock? Thank you for your help with this. Greatly appreciated.
I do clock repair as a full time business. It is now my retirement income, due to health reasons and injuries received during 25 years of appliance repair. I live in a rural area (45 miles from the nearest 'big' town of 35,000) right near the big rock known as Devil's Tower---very rural.
Bought 2 clocks at auction. Been reading that the clocks might need cleaning or repair. Called some "local" repair shops and estimates seemed pretty high (around $175). I was wondering if anyone can get me some names or numbers of reputable people near me. I live in Dutchess County, New York. I can go as far south as NYC and as far North as ...
There are no clock repair shops near me or else I would farm out that job. So what I need is knowledge from the group on what I need to buy for these jobs. I will be doing this manually, no drill press. The piece of the Revere clock that wears is a rectangular brass piece. The brass piece measures 0.093" thick, sorry I do not have metric calipers.
Greetings everyone, Everyone has been so helpful here in the past I wanted to ask another question. I have a Coo Coo clock that I've been tinkering with. It had been dropped at one time and the hands were broken. I have the following measurements; shaft is .180" and the square drive is .087"...
I called a couple of local clock repair shops and they declined to work on a clock in the middle of being repaired by an amateur (I don't blame them.) I am not asking if this is the right thing to do, I know it is not.
Hi, a friend gave me her cuckoo clock to fix, and I have never worked on one. It came with the chains and weights unattached. They are quite complex. My question is does it matter where I position the rack and the snail when I reassemble the parts? I am attaching a photo of the existing...
If there is anything ridiculous about that price guide, it is assuming that a clock owner who knows nothing about clock repair will he able to extract a reasonable repair estimate without what is wrong with the clock.
My neighbors have a grandfather clock sitting out on their front patio. is there a link I can give them to refer local nawcc members who buy repair restore grandfather clocks?
John if you have any clock repair shops near by, perhaps you could bring your clock to them and get a nut. That way it would be cheaper for you, as you dont need a assortment of them. Using this one from Harold, hope no one minds. If your clock does not tick, let me tock to it.
